Radiologic Technologists
WiseCare Urgent Care is seeking a positive, friendly, energetic and skilled Radiologic Technologist for a full-time position.
We have two new state of the art, 7-bed urgent care centers located in Pasadena and Millersville, Maryland and take pride in the quality, efficient patient care with a courteous and friendly approach!
Requirements:Courteous demeanor and takes a team player approach; Good at explaining procedures to patients; Knowledgable in operating digital x-ray equipment; Properly positions patients for radiographs; Record as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems; Utilize radiographic knowledge in performance of duties and responsibilities; Follow proper radiation protection technique to assure safety to patients and staff; Use Standard Precautions regarding personal protective equipment as required; Organizing and maintain x-ray area; Perform other duties as specified and assigned such as front desk.
Qualifications: Must be available to work schedules that include all open hours; Valid State Certificate in Radiologic Technology; Knowledge of confidentiality regulations; Knowledge of medical terminology; Knowledge of medical office equipment operation; Ability to utilize sound decision making; Ability to communicate effectively.
Must have a Maryland State Radiographer License!
