Perry Weisman, MD

Perry Weisman, MD is the founder and CEO of WiseCare Urgent Care.

Dr. Perry Weisman decided to focus on improving access to walk-in urgent care and primary care services in Anne Arundel County, Maryland by opening the Pasadena location of WiseCare in February 2015 and later a Severna Park location in April 2017.

He accepts walk-in urgent care and primary care patients at our Severna Park location, and has special interests in cardiovascular disease, congestive heart failure and the treatment of hypertension. In addition he enjoys travel medicine and performing immigration physicals.

Medical Background

Dr. Weisman has been practicing Emergency Medicine for the last 10 years and currently works in the ER at several hospitals in Richmond, Virginia In addition to seeing patients at WiseCare walk-in urgent care and primary care centers.

After completing his residency at Drexel University in Philadelphia in 2002, Dr. Weisman furthered his knowledge by completing a Cardiovascular Fellowship at Georgetown University Washington Hospital Center in 2005. Dr. Weisman is a certified Diplomate with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also a designated civil surgeon for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), and FAA-Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) certified to perform medical exams for pilots.

He graduated in 1995 from the State University of New York in Stony Brook, where he majored in Psychology and Pharmacology. Dr. Weisman received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint George’s University in 1999.

Dr. Weisman enjoys traveling with his wife and two young children who join him often for a variety of outdoor activities including cycling, running, fishing, hiking and gardening.

His mission is to provide consistent, high quality, convenient walk-in urgent care and primary care health care services for all residents in Anne Arundel County.
